This weekend was spent moving furniture for Mike and Ferrell. The RV is holding up well, The biggest headache for me now is my car. I often refer to it as an expensive paper weight, and Saturday was no exception. It took me 5 hours, and $350, to get it out of the impound lot. There was a note on the car that read, ” If you would like to sell your corvette call me. I love my car, and I know if I sell it, I will never again own another car like it. Still there is plenty of temptation to ditch it now, Im about to spend another $1K to ship it across the country and it will be years, not to mention thousands of dollars, until I can have it at the level I want it to be.
I going to send the guy an email today to see what he’s offering. Let me know what you think.

With less than a month left in the Navy, life is starting to fly very fast. I’ve only had a couple of hours of sleep, and am actively moving out of my apartment.
These Days there are alot of lasts, and many firsts. Today begins the last week I have an apartment in San Diego, and I made my first meal in my RV; ricotta and spinach rigatoni, with a tomato and portabella sauce! not bad.
I will be temporaily bringing down this site at some point this week, probably Friday. Ferrell Hudgins, a marine I met on my first and last deployment, will also be traveling after he ends his time in the military and we will both be blogging our experience.
