No Comments Win7 FREE?
I’m not a big proponent of MS or Win7, Ill take Ubuntu any day.
of course that isn’t always the case for everyone. So, heres how to get Windows 7 for cheep or even free.
Students:
Tap your way over to This Microsoft site for a copy of Windows 7 for only $30. (US Students only)
Update: the $30 copy of Windows 7 is an upgrade only. But, both Window Home Premium and Pro are available at that price. I picked up a copy of Windows XP Pro from E-bay for $30, for a total price tag of $60 for Windows 7 PRo, not bad.
You may even be eligible for a FREE copy if your school participates in a MS program called MSND Academic Alliance. Check to see if your School is eligible here.

Of course the best deal is still any Linux Distribution… it really is free, and secure. If you must plug yourself into the constraints and dangers of the MSWorld at least you may save yourself a buck or two…
