I thought I was going to go insane the other day when I plugged the RV into an electrical outlet at the RV Park. Everything worked well, except the electrical outlets. I had no way to charge any of my power devices! I was stupiffied, this is a major upset, even before my trip has begun. Fortunately, before taking a pickaxe to the tires, I realized I had to flip a switch at the source… and everything was ‘A-ok’.

Water management is the most important part of RV life, with no more than 45 gallons of water to use (not for drinking, or cooking) I try to conserve as much as possible. Living on a ship has been very helpful, we are constantly watching our water levels while underway and there are a couple of tricks Ive carried on to living in the RV.

The first is called the ‘Navy Shower,’ whenever your not ussing the water to rise, turn it off. This incudes while lathering your hair and body. This concept is simple but it saves alot of water.
The rest is just taking the same principle and applying it to all of your activities that include water; washing hands, dishes, brushing teeth, shaving, ext.

Ussing these techniques I can streatch that 40 gallons for over a week. (how much water does your toilet drain each time you flush?)
