Navy Reserves, Its really the benifits that draws me to them. A sense of security, safety, a blanket.
Of course, I’m a little perturbed at the fact that Im sitting just outside the MEPS (military entry processing) building at this moment, it is a waste of time for me, all because some complacent Doc didn’t circle a couple of words on a piece of paper.
I picked up my Reserve ID yesterday, an insignificant event, just another chore to be done in the day. I was very surprised, as I put it into my wallet, in the blank spot my Active duty card rested over the past five years, it fell snuggly into place. The ID seemed not only to fill a spot in my wallet, it seemed to complete a part of my subconsious, as if I had found an old childhood toy at a garage sale.
Mabey I just need a new wallet.
