Intended

I intended to write back, and never did
I intended to call you, but never did
My intentions were there, but I couldn’t be
As time tossed you from my grasp,
like the wind playing with a piece of paper
I intended to love you, but I never will.

Craigslist Trade

Posting my ‘vette on craigslist has become almost a full time job. I haven’t been able to respond to all the Emails and my phone is ringing incessantly!
I have received a couple of good offers topping the list right now are:

  • An ’85 CJ
  • A Suzuki Boulevard
  • A Dodge Stealth

Craigslist Barter, a compromise?

Alright, I love my Vette. But right now Im just sitting on it until I can get the funds to fix it (not much, but I have bigger fish to fry)
At the same time I want to get out and do cool stuff! Climb, Kayak, bike, and enjoy the outdoors this summer, of course I cant restock in gear for the same reason I cant fix the Vette.
So Im stuck with nothing, or am I?
Craigslist! Barter! of course! I posted an add on craigslist to see if anyone had some extra gear they wanted to trade for a great car! Lets see what happens.
Heres the add for those who are curious.

The rush to Enroll

DC was a trip of ups and downs, It was alot of fun, and I learned alot, but I was not able to secure a place in a DC school.
The main problem came from a couple of classes I took six years ago at North Georgia College and State University. I have three “F” scores tying up 12 credit hours. And that, is my problem for the time being. It is affecting my ability to get into American (I have a hold) and if not corrected it will be a ‘black eye’ in the future when I apply to Grad School.
So its off to NGCSU to correct the mistakes of the past, while simultaneously preparing for the future.

Unfortunately I am not able to enroll this summer, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I am taking another distance learning class with Central Texas College instead.

NC- Megs graduation!

I’ve Traveled to Sylva, NC to attend my cousin Megan’s graduation party. (sub plot: learn of the ‘Hipster’ culture that thrives in this part of the country…
Sylva is an incredible little town nescled deep in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina, and of course the drive up, a two laned road that snakes its way through a gordge cut deap by the meandering Chattahoochee River, has some of the most incredible views in the world!
The party was incredible! I enjoyed every moment with my family! The Grad was awesome and we partied the night away! I plan to make it back some time to take advantage of the rafting in the area!
